1985

The company is founded: INOSOFT is involved with automation systems for the plastics industry. The subject of "Visualization" was already a focal point.

1990

The first product, "VisiPro", for visualization under MS-DOS is introduced.

1991-1992

INOSOFT presents further developments around the "visualization" issue, from drivers to specialized industry solutions. The success requires the recruitment of further employees to meet the requirements.

1993

Further expansion results in cramped space. INOSOFT moves into new, larger premises.

1995

In the world of visualization Microsoft is becoming more and more of an issue.
INOSOFT discovers Visual Basic which it regards as a perfect platform for visualization products. With VisiWin the first visualization system that is entirely integrated in a programming environment is created. Launched as a product for the first time at the 1995 Hannover Fair.

1995-96

But DOS, too, is still in demand as a runtime system. The result is VisiWinDOS, a development system under Windows creating DOS applications. This concept was developed on request from our customer base.

1996

The development around Visual Basic is continuing. What follows is the logical step from the 16-Bit to the 32-Bit system.

1998

As a next step of development a new product is launched: VisiWinStudio, revised and upgraded in all areas, and also with Client-Server architecture.

1999

New, own premises have been built in order not to inhibit further growth. On the day after SPS/IPC/Drives the move to the Hiddenhausen borough of Lippinghausen was begun. Goods brought back from the exhibition were unloaded straight into the new premises.

2000

VisiPocketControl, a visualization system for Pocket PCs as an OPC Client, is launched..

2001

Windows CE becomes interesting as operating system for the automation. INOSOFT tackles this subject. The VisiWin-X CE visualization system and the development of operating system images are a new business area.

2003

The world speaks .NET, we are joining in.
VisiWinNET Professional is the first visualization system that is integrated in Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003.

2005

VisiWinNET 6 for Visual Studio 2005 with a new, independent development environment: VisiWinNET Smart.

2008

VisiWinNET now with WPF support.

2010

With VisiWin 7 INOSOFT develops an entirely WPF-based visualization solution. On the same basis there is also a version with Silverlight that runs in the browser.
As far as graphics go anything that a graphics board can produce is now possible. Design interfaces are coming into reach. First projects with the new partner ERGOSIGN are taking a very positive course. Finally, the HMI Alliance is founded. An association that is to bring many benefits to the customers.
